Vaping Cannabis May Reduce Tobacco Use

Category: Tokers | Posted on Sun, December, 31st 2017 by THCFinder

Vaping has been all over the news lately, especially with all of the research coming out of Portland State University, in my home state of Oregon. We have seen studies looking at the health benefits/losses of e-cigarettes, and we are starting to see some more research on BHO concentrates.

All of the available research has focused on the direct health consequences of vaping and not its effects in a more holistic view. A group of scientists researching addiction (to tobacco) has started to see a trend appearing in the U.S. and Europe that they believe is worth further investigation. The author of a letter to the editor published in the journal, Society for the Study of Addiction, believe that vaping cannabis, either whole plant or extract may reduce tobacco use and addiction.

Why Smoking Weed Causes You To Dream Less

Category: Tokers | Posted on Wed, December, 27th 2017 by THCFinder

Is there a clear relationship between weed and dreams? If you’ve ever heard the claim that smoking weed causes you to dream less, or have “marijuana dreams”, stick around. We’re going to dive deep into the science behind marijuana and dreams.

I don’t know about all of you but, when I have trouble sleeping I turn to a nice, full flavored indica to help knock me out.

It’s super effective; I typically wake up feeling rested and ready for the day, but something peculiar has been happening, something that was missing, something I didn’t realize until a friend asked me a simple question, “What was your dream last night?”

CBD Oil Is Safe Effective and Will Not Get You High

Category: Tokers | Posted on Sat, December, 16th 2017 by THCFinder

CBD oil processed from cannabis plants is a miracle medicine. There are no psychoactive effects from CBD oil.

Although medical marijuana has been shown to have numerous benefits for people who suffer from a wide range of medical problems, many patients who would benefit from its use still have concerns about using it due to widely held beliefs which simply aren't true.

Some people are reluctant to try medicinal marijuana because they are afraid that it will make them high, thinking of the traditional stereotype of the classic stoner, however it is simply not the case.

The chemical compound THC which causes the psychoactive reaction associated with cannabis use is only present in incredibly small amounts in medicinal marijuana , and instead, the compound CBD is prevalent. While both THC and CBD are cannabinoids, CBD produces no sensations of being high and instead promotes relaxation and pain relief, making it an ideal way of treating a broad spectrum of medical problems from chronic pain to anxiety. Patients who use medical marijuana will experience relief from their unpleasant symptoms but without any kind of high or unwanted side-effects.

“Can you give me any advice on how to transition to the Cannabis Industry?”

This is the question I get asked most.

Let me start by saying that opportunities in the cannabis Industry are vast and the numbers are enticing. Entrepreneur Magazine says that 283,000 Cannabis Industry Jobs will be created by 2020 and New Frontier Data expects the Cannabis Industry to be a $24 Billion industry by that same year. Enticing indeed.

Teens Are Smoking Less Pot Following Legalization

Category: Tokers | Posted on Tue, September, 12th 2017 by THCFinder

A federal survey just confirmed that the sanctimonious justification spewed by self-righteous prohibitionists who claim to be protecting young people from the evils of marijuana is willfully deceptive.

The kids don’t need help on this issue. They’re making their own choices.

Adolescent weed-smoking is not now, and hasn’t been, a problem for the past 20 years.

The latest National Survey on Drug Use and Health report confirmed that in 2016, rates of marijuana use among the nation’s 12-to-17-year-olds dropped to their lowest level in more than two decades.

Trump and Sessions are ignoring voters' overwhelming support for medical marijuana. Will Congress listen?

Category: Tokers | Posted on Tue, September, 12th 2017 by THCFinder

Never mind what President Trump said on the campaign trail. His administration and GOP leaders appear determined to eliminate protections for medical marijuana growers, sellers and users.

Every year since 2014, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Costa Mesa) has inserted an amendment into a federal spending bill to prevent the Justice Department from prosecuting medical marijuana businesses that comply with their state’s laws. It’s been a temporary but necessary fix to address a fundamental contradiction: that even though 26 states have legalized medical marijuana, the drug is still prohibited under federal law.
