Gravity bongs truly are awesome but be prepared to use a lot of your crop if you decide to do one. The high you get from them is truly amazing but once again it is not for the casual smoker as it will get you completely wrecked. Below we have some details on how to make a gravity bong as well as some pictures of your finished product. If you’re not one for making them then below we have a picture of a vortex gravity bong which comes highly recommended if you can get your hands on one.

Find a plastic container at least a 2 liter, empty its contents. Cut the bottom off of your plastic container leaving as much volume as possible, there's usually a ring near the bottom we would recommend cutting around there.

Take a drill and drill a hole in the center of the plastic lid. Or for a more practical and easier time you can just take a lighter and slowly burn the top of the cap slightly so it softens up, then push the metal socket into the melting plastic for an airtight seal.

Cut out the middle part of the plastic lid and add some aluminum foil inside, making a bowl.

Now, find a bucket large enough to fully submerge your container and fill it with water. Place the container into the water with the cap removed and the top of the container an inch or two above the surface of the water.

Load with your desired smoking substance and screw on your lid. BE SURE to put the container into the water 1st before screwing on your lid or else it may eject your substance.

Light and Lift, you should get a very thick smoke within the bong.

Once the container is nearly full and before the bottom comes out of the water breathe out making sure that your ready for a huge toke, we can’t stress this enough so be prepared.

Twist off the cap and place your mouth on top of the container and inhale.
