Strain Name: 8-Ball Kush
From: Green Closet Delivery
Date Acquired: April 14, 2012
Looks: Nice large fluffy and sugary blinged out marijuana nuggets with areas of deep dark spotting and sticky to the touch.
Smell: Hints of funky, stinky cheese and a dry grassy weedy field. Somewhat like funky body odor over sprayed with cologne.
Taste: Complex. Very similar to its smell. A funky sweetness leaving a rich sweet tea leaf after taste.
Buzz Type: Relaxation and pain relief. Very mellowing.
Buzz Length: Above Average to Long (1.5 hours to 2 hours)
* THC tested at 22.08%, 8-Ball Kush is one of the most "unique" Kush versions I've medicated with.
8-Ball Kush was very smooth smoking providing excellent relaxation as pain melted away. It was a very nice "chill out" strain. With the typical Kush feature of "pressure release" behind my eyes, 8-Ball Kush also provided me with a feeling cerebral pressure felt around the top of my head. I could sense a steady stream of "tingle" which was not over-bearing, but just enough to be relaxing and soothing. Not to my surprise, a few nights I was couch locked and when it happened, it was straight creeper.
8-Ball Kush's smell is also quite unique and I felt it changed up often. I sensed an initial strong cheesy "funk" that hits the nose, but also some sweet scent over the top of it. Also very unique in taste, it was almost hard to pinpoint as it seemed to be different between bowls. This strain smokes very smooth. I had minimal cough with large bowls and as typical with Green Closet grows, these marijuana nuggets were well cured and burned into white flaky ash. My bubbler produced a much more sweeter taste vs. my larger bong.
Overall, 8-Ball Kush is a nice strain to wind down the day with if you have not much on the plate to do, but watching TV, surfing the Internet, or playing video games. This was definitely a strain that made me desire to stay home, relax, and wind down vs. leaving the house and going out to do something.
Cheers (& Cough),
