Stupid is as Stupid does...
I am thankful for 206bseabuds comments but am surprised it was that short. CannaButter is laughable with their comment about not seeing mites when picking them up. Meeting someone who has kept you waiting in a public parking lot for an hour is hardly an acceptable place to expect someone to be able to "inspect" for anything other than that there are actually clones in the bag. Is what cannabutter calls "due dilligence" so easily defined that they do not... One of the easiest ways to keep mites away is not to bring infected clones into any grow room. Another is to get rid of everything and start over, ONLY after thoroughly cleaning the space. Now a patient who is growing for personal use can decide what his personal "due dilligence" amounts to, but I am confident that anyone who is taking the time to have a grow room will tell you that any patient has the right to expect that someone who is providing a service to others, be, is,can and will be held to a higher standard, if they are expecting to have nice things said about them and have a high percentage of repeat customers and or donations. Has the two gentleman (patient & caretaker) running altruistic culture admitted what many others already know, YES. At least to me and the CPC. Since I personally spoke with the CPC, loudly at first because I was concerned that I should have been warned by them when letting them know of my plans to obtain clones from altruistic, at that time, the near future. I was made to think that their (CPC), $1000.00 loss from the same sham that befell myself, was within only a few days of each other. I can't be sure of that detail but the abundance of choice, descriptive, negative words to describe altruistic cultures actions regarding the delivery of sick mite infested clones, made it VERY clear what was happening and in my opinion STILL is happening. I have, finally, after 3 weeks been refunded ONLY, 10 rooted, mite infested clones and the rest of the donation. Let me say again, anyone who wishes to risk finding out what can happen when you start with a plant that has mites, feel free to listen to CannaButters opinion. I don't see the point in having a grow room, or using it with clones that begin with mites. Might as well put it outside in the dirt, if you have the right conditions to be successful. BUT if you actually READ what altruistic culture has WRITTEN above and at their dot org website then why would any intelligent patient knowingly accept anything less than what they/(altruistic culture) themselves say they are providing!?
Less than 12 hours after posting my original, personal experience, I received an e-mail from sean at altruistic culture saying: Right now, producing these clones is the only income Andrew (the patient I am a caregiver for) has. By being unwilling to work with us, all you are doing is hurting him. In regards to your postings about the CPC, Andrew is already working on their replacement clones. Because of your postings, we have not been able to even pay our cell phone bill, so please call us to arrange a time to get this sorted.
FIRST: I am not aware of the validity of any of these statements, but common sense helps me determine the accuracy of them. Unwilling to work with them at that time means being tired of being told one thing and kindly believing it on the first hand, expressing my opinion that being provided sick mite infested clones was not going to be accepted by myself, nor should they begin a "poor me, pitty me" campaign to, I don't know, maybe get me to feel sorry and just accept being ripped off, insulted, lied to... But I kept listening until I was ready to give them another chance despite the 4 conversations and the obvious original lies until they had both appologized and agreed to refund the $ as who could be expected to risk mites again?
SECOND: I do not believe that they are working on replacements for the CPC, or that the CPC would trust them AGAIN. I don’t know but don’t believe… I will be in contact with the CPC and will inquire for an update as to their position if they are willing to discuss it further as they were very steadfast about what they thought of altruistic culture and whether or not they definitely wouldn’t use services like that again.
THIRD: I consider seans last comment a perfect example of the kind of conversations I had and the level of intelligence involved in those conversations. Everyone has a right to their own level of utilized intelligence but that does not mean that another will accept being lassoed into another’s existence so easily. Sean used the plural when referring to m posting here because AFTER I posted my personal experience here I left a more personal review directly on their dot org website. To my knowledge that personaly posted review is not viewable by everyone. I can see it, but not others that I know who have tried. SO finally how does ones cell phone bill payment have anything to do with my review on THC Finder and the invi_ible personally posted review on altruistic culture dot org!? Can you connect the dots for me please . . . ?
I will do my best to answer any questions ANYONE might have about what my personal experience was and if anyone has an answer to a question I need to ask please expect a two way conversation to be involved.
