Medicated Butternut Squash Soup

Category: Recipes | Posted on Thu, March, 6th 2014 by THCFinder
For a mix of something that will medicate you and at the same time, be healthy, this recipe is for you! Butternut squash has awesome health benefits and especially with this cold weather, you can definitely enjoy a bowl of this on a cold night. Although the squash is definitely the best when bought from the local farmers market, you can find it during all seasons at the grocery store. The soup is very simple and doesn't take that long to make, plus you can freeze anything you don't eat for a easy snack later on!
What You'll Need;
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
5 cups of vegetable stock
1 tablespoon chopped sage leaves
1 large onion, diced
3 tablespoons of cannabis-infused oil or butter
1 cup chopped carrots
1 ½ tablespoons of cannabutter to finish
1 cup chopped celery
3 lbs butternut squash
1.5 teaspoons of sea salt
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
Start by peeling the squash and cutting it in to two halves, making sure to remove the seeds. Cut the squash in to chunks and place them in a steamer basket for about 40 minutes. While that cooks, heat the oil in a large pot and add in the carrots, diced onion, and celery, along with the herbs that you have set aside. Sauté these veggies on medium for 20 minutes until they begin to brown.
Add the squash, vegetable stock (or water), and the salt to the pot. Simmer everything together for another 20 minutes, making sure to cover the pot. After the soup is done cooking, puree it in the blender in batches to make sure that everything gets blended together well. Put the soup back in the pot and add in the salt and pepper to taste, if you'd like. The salt and pepper are both optional.
Looking for a soup with a little more of a kick? Take the cannabutter than you have set aside and set it atop the soup. The butter will melt in to the meal and will give you an extra boost of stoned! You can also serve the butter on a slice of bread if you don't want to add the butter in to the soup itself! This recipe serves four but as said above, you can either share with friends or freeze and save the rest of the soup for a snack later! Enjoy!

Pecan Pot Snacks

Category: Recipes | Posted on Mon, March, 3rd 2014 by THCFinder
These snacks are super simple to make, making them a great choice for the beginning marijuana chef. They're quick too, which makes them a good choice for those who want a pot snack in a hurry. What's even better is that these snacks can also be saved and munched on for later. Trust me, with a recipe as simple as this one, there's no way you won't enjoy these pecan pot snacks!
What You'll Need;
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 ounces light cream cheese
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
5 tablespoons of cannabutter, softened
1 tablespoon of melted cannabutter
2/3 cup chopped pecans
¾ cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 large egg
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Take a 24 cup mini muffin pan and grease it well. Soften the butter and the cream cheese and add them to a large mixing bowl, churning them together by hand until they are smooth (you can use an electric mixer if you don't want to do it by hand). Pour in the flour and the powdered sugar a little bit at a time, being sure to blend in the small amounts before adding more. When everything is blended smoothly, add in 1/8 teaspoon of salt to the dough mix and work it with your hands to form a smooth ball.
Use some flour to cove a flat work surface and use a floured rolling pin to roll the dough out in to a circle, like a pizza. It should be about 1/8th of an inch thick. Using a knife, cut the dough in to 24 squares. Take the trimmings from the edges and set them aside for later. Turn each square in to a small ball and then flatten it back in to a circular flat disc. Flatten these small dough discs in to the muffin cups. If you don't have enough squares, take some of the dough from your leftover trimmings and use that. Put the tray in the fridge.
Take the egg, melted cannabutter, remaining salt, brown sugar, chocolate, and vanilla and mix them together in a bowl until they're well combined. Take half of the pecan pieces that you have and toss them in the muffin cups. Then, pour the sugar mixture over the pecans, topping them off with the rest of the pecans. Put the tray in the oven for about 20 minutes. Let the treats cool for 5 minutes before taking a knife and cutting them out slowly with a knife. Let the snacks cool on a wire rack and store them in an airtight container! Enjoy!

Medicated Bloody Mary

Category: Recipes | Posted on Tue, February, 25th 2014 by THCFinder
The last medicated alcoholic beverage recipe that got put up seemed to do really well with everyone so here's another one. This recipe is for the medicated Bloody Mary, a very popular morning drink for those that enjoy alcohol before the hour of 1 pm. Since everyone likes their Bloody Mary's differently, you can always alter the recipe to make it to your liking. And please remember that ingesting cannabis and alcohol together can sometimes cause negative effects. Be sure that you know how you'll react before drinking too many of these!
What You'll Need;
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 cup finely chopped cucumbers
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup finely chopped, medium green bell pepper
3 drops tobasco sauce
2 tablespoons dry white wine
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 cup tomatoes, undrained
3 drops Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons Hash oil
1 cup croutons
2 ounces vodka
1/2 cup medium chopped onion
Dash of Limoncello
Take all of the ingredients and put them in a food processor or blender. Blend them all together on medium until they are all smooth. Then, grab a medium sized pot and put the mixture in it. Stick the pot in the fridge and let it sit in there for about an hour. Once the hour has passed, you're ready to enjoy your cannabis Bloody Mary. You can garnish it with celery, pepper, salt, or anything else that you feel like putting in there (I've seen some very odd things get put on a Bloody Mary drink, even things such as a slice of pizza). Enjoy your drink!

Butterscotch Cannabis Pops

Category: Recipes | Posted on Tue, February, 18th 2014 by THCFinder
Even though being healthy is number one on most stoner's lists of things to be, we all need a little junk food now and then. For those of you that enjoy butterscotch, this recipe is definitely do you! They're super easy to make and they also make really good party favors, in case you're looking for something simple and cute. Or, as always, you can just enjoy them by yourself!
What You'll Need;
1/4 to 1 teaspoon butterscotch flavoring
1/3 cup corn syrup
1 to 2 teaspoon(s) citric acid (optional)
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoons cannabis tincture
Liquid food coloring
Take a cookie sheet and turn it upside down. Cover it with parchment paper and coat the paper with cooking oil. If you're going to use molds for your pops, be sure that you grease the mold pan now, prepare the sticks, and place the mold on the cookie sheet/parchment paper. Now grab a medium saucepan and put the water, sugar, cream of tartar, and corn syrup together and put the burner on medium heat. Stir everything together with a wooden spoon until the crystals of sugar have dissolved.
Use a pastry brush soaked with warm water to wipe any grains of sugar off of the sides of the pan. Continue to stir the mixture while you do this. Once the substance starts to boil, stop stirring and place a thermometer in the pan. Don't let the thermometer touch the bottom or sides of the pan, as it will throw off the measurement. The temperature needs to reach 300 degrees and then remove the pan from the heat. Let the syrup cool until it reaches 275 degrees and add in the tincture, citric acid, flavor, and color.
Take the syrup and pour it in to the molds that you have preprepared. If you chose to not use the molds, pour small circles on to the parchment paper and place a stick in each one of them. Let the candy set for about ten minutes until the substance hardens. Wrap them up and they're ready to be eaten! For an added bonus, you can heat up some butterscotch candies in a small pan until they are melted and you can dip each pop in to the liquid candy. This will give them an extra boost of butterscotch flavor!

Fire Cracker Snacks

Category: Recipes | Posted on Mon, February, 17th 2014 by THCFinder
Firecracker Snacks
A super dank snack, the firecracker cookies are sure to become a new favorite in your book of stoner munchies. A pretty simple recipe to follow, the cookies will cure munchies and get you even more stoned. You won't be sharing these with your friends any time soon. And be sure to hide them if anyone happens to stop by. Once they start eating them, it's going to be difficult to stop!
What You'll Need;
Regular Butter
1-2g of Ground Cannabis
2 Whole graham crackers
1/2-1 Cup of Peanut butter
Tin foil
Heat your oven to 310 degrees. Take your peanut butter and the ground up cannabis and mix them together in to a small bowl. Grab one graham cracker and spread the cannabis peanut butter mix over one whole side of the cracker. Do the same to the other graham cracker. If you add a small amount of olive oil on to the crackers, they will help for the peanut butter/cannabis mix to absorb in to the crackers better.
Wrap the crackers in separate tinfoil loosely. Be sure that there are no holes and place them in the oven for about 11 minutes. Don't use a cookie sheet for this step but instead just place the wrapped crackers directly on the oven rack. Let the crackers cool off before unwrapping them and enjoy! Obviously you can multiply the recipe to make more crackers but things this good should only be enjoyed in moderation!
