Thanksgiving Canna-Recipes; Pumpkin Bread
Category: Recipes | Posted on Wed, November, 27th 2013 by THCFinder

Bread is almost as important as pie when it comes to holiday dinners. Pumpkin bread is especially popular and can be made for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. This recipe calls for cannabis olive oil, which must be made in advance so be sure that you have some handy before getting started!
What You'll Need;
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup cannabis olive oil
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup pumpkin puree
3/4 cup wheat flour
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/3 cup honey
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Start off by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Put in a center rack and grab a 9x5 loaf pan. Spray the pan with cooking spray. Now, take a mixing bowl and whisk together the baking soda, cinnamon, both types of flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Then, in a different bowl, mix together the eggs, cannabis infused olive oil, the pumpkin puree, honey, and the brown sugar. Add the dry ingredients from the first bowl in to the second bowl a little bit at a time, stirring consistently. Take your previously-greased loaf pan and pour everything in. Hit the flat part of the pan on the counter, making sure to eliminate all of the air bubbles. Put the loaf in the oven to bake for around 40 minutes, until the top turns a toasted brown color. Place the oaf out to cool for about 20 minutes and it's ready to eat!
Thanksgiving Canna-Recipes; Medicated Gravy
Category: Recipes | Posted on Tue, November, 26th 2013 by THCFinder

Gravy is basically required for a Thanksgiving meal. It''s what makes the turkey taste that much better. Not feeling very motivated to medicate everything on your table this year? Simply medicating the gravy will get you and your family/friends stoned enough to still have room for dessert!
What You'll Need;
Salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp chopped fresh sage
2 large onions, sliced thin
½ cup balsamic vinegar
Turkey, chicken or vegetable stock
1/3 cup flour
2 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
6 Tbsp cannabutter
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
Grab a large skillet and melt your cannabutter over medium heat. Watch it closely. Add in your sliced onions and sauté them for about ten minutes. Then, toss in the rosemary and sage and cook for another ten minutes. Gradually add in the flour and whisk the mixture for a minute. Slowly whisk in the stock and begin to boil the mix until it begins to thicken. Stir everything frequently. Grab the pan that you used to cook the turkey in and pour the juices out in to a cup. Spoon off the fat that rises to the top and pour the juices in with the gravy.
In your roasting pan, add vinegar. Bring that to a simmer over medium, scraping up the browned bits left behind. Pour this new mixture in to a small sauce pan. Boil it for about 3 minutes and then add it in to the gravy. Stir it together well. Add salt and pepper for seasoning if you choose.

Thanksgiving Canna-Recipes; Green Bean Casserole
Category: Recipes | Posted on Fri, November, 22nd 2013 by THCFinder

As Thanksgiving approaches, people are planning on what they're going to be eating. If you're planning on having dinner with people who love cannabis as much as you, why not incorporate some edibles in to your dinner? Stoners are definitely thankful for cannabis and what better way to be thankful for it? Of course, the meal has to start off with an appetizer. Medicated green bean casserole is a good way to start things off!
What You'll Need (Makes enough for 10-12 people);
1/4 tsp salt
1 diced onion
2 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 cup French onions
8 cups cooked, cut green beans
2 tblsp cannabutter
1/4 tsp ground pepper
Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees. Take a large skillet and sauté the onion with a small amount of cannabutter on medium heat. Let it cook for a few minutes and then add in the canned mushroom soup, salt and pepper, 1 tblsp cannabutter, milk, and green beans. Mix everything together well until the substance is warm. Use the leftover cannabutter to grease up the casserole dish. Transfer the skillet contents in to the dish and sprinkle the French onion across the top. Toss the whole thing in to the oven for 15-20 minutes or until it's bubbling slightly. Remove it from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your Thanksgiving appetizer!

Cannabis Fruit Snacks
Category: Recipes | Posted on Thu, November, 21st 2013 by THCFinder
For those that are trying to stay healthy, edibles can be dangerous! Thankfully, there are still a few healthy recipes out there, although it's pretty hard to track them down. This recipe creates a sort of fruit-nut-spice ball. It' not the healthiest thing in the world but it is better than a brownie or Rice Krispy treat, right?
What You'll Need;
1 tsp coriander
1 handful stone dates
1 tsp black peppercorns
4 average size cinnamon sticks
1 handful shelled almonds
1/4 oz cannabis
1 cup sugar
1 whole nutmeg
1 handful peanuts
1 handful dried figs
1 pat butter
Take the black peppercorns, cinnamon, coriander, and nutmeg and grind them in to a powder. A mortar works well for this step or you can use a coffee grinder if it's clean and you're feeling lazy. Then, chop up the almond, peanuts, dried figs, and stone dates. Mix them together well. Then, take the cannabis and grind it with your mortar or coffee grinder. Dissolve the sugar in to the pat of butter. Take the cannabis and spices, mix them together very well, and dust it over the fruit and nuts. Then, using the butter mixture, knead everything together thoroughly.
At this point, you can either cut the pieces in to shapes with a cutter or just roll them in to small golfball sized balls. Since edibles are stronger than smoking, be sure that you know how the pieces will effect you before engulfing the whole plate of them. I'm also sure that you could cut down the amount of sugar in these as well. Enjoy!

Medicated Pesto
Category: Recipes | Posted on Wed, November, 20th 2013 by THCFinder

It's possible to make cannabis pizza, pasta, and bread. But why not enhance it with some medicated pesto? Not only that but homemade pesto is better than anything that you can buy in a store. This recipe will provide you with delicious pesto that you can add to whatever stoner delight you feel like whipping up!
What You'll Need;
2 cups cannabis olive oil
1 tsp salt
2 cups garlic
2 cups basil
Parmesan cheese (Optional)
Pine nuts
This is a recipe that is based mostly off of taste. Therefore, each of the ingredients can be changed if you feel like there should be more or less of them. Seeing as how pesto isn't that difficult to make. All you need is to put everything in a blender and grind it up. It should form a thick, gooey substance. Scrape this out in to a sealable container and store it in the fridge until you need to use it. As said above, this pesto can be used with pizza, put on bread, or used to make pasta! And you made it yourself so you know where it comes from!

1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp ground ginger
Whipped cannabis cream, for topping
