Millionaire Owner of Beverly Hills Cannabis Club Supplies the Stars
This is juicy, so what better resource than a British tabloid to fill us in on who is providing what to whom in the glitzy world of Hollywood cannabis consumption?
The Mirror, also known as the “Intelligent Tabloid,” recently told us about the exciting life of Cheryl Shuman, owner of the Beverly Hills Cannabis Club and the special service she provides to the rich and famous.
Such service reportedly have included a 3 a.m. weed call, requesting “all of the sex oils and herbs” she had in order to spice things up for an “A-list actor in the throes of a marathon sex session with five young women.”
Shuman slipped out of her jammies, got dressed and shot across town in her red Ferrari to deliver the supplies.
Pot Companies and Consumers Connect at Farmers Market
Cultivators and makers of concentrates and other marijuana products had direct access to their customers at the San Diego Cannabis Farmers Market. The event was held outdoors at a Four Points by Sheraton hotel in California’s second largest city.
In order to comply with current regulations, a doctor’s medical marijuana recommendation was required for entry, but it was evident the crowd was also eager to celebrate recreational use with the passage of Prop. 64, as a party atmosphere prevailed.
It didn’t take shoppers long to get in the right frame of mind, with free hits and dabs available at every turn. The reggae rhythms were dropped down only long enough for special events, such as giveaways and competitions.
Inside a Colorado Pot Club—A Rare and Endangered Species
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — It’s the fish tank featuring a colorful reef made of glass marijuana pipes that ultimately sets the Speakeasy Vape Lounge apart from any other strip-mall bar and confirms what it really is: one of the United States’ only legal pot clubs.
The fact that it and a few dozen like it already exist in Colorado was all but lost in a recent fight over whether the state would become the first to regulate such establishments, underscoring the patchwork approach that legal weed states have taken in sorting out where it’s OK to consume pot in public.
Colorado allows pot clubs, but state lawmakers ultimately decided against a plan to regulate them statewide. Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper warned that passing the measure could invite a federal crackdown.
