Cypress Hill Announces New Involvment in Marijuana Industry

As you may have seen in our post last night Cypress Hill Officially Enters the Cannabis Industry, members of Cypress Hill announced an official a partnership collaboration with Bhang Chocolates. This is a huge success, not just for Cypress Hill and Bhang, but for the cannabis reform movement and the cannabis industry across the board.

Scott Van Rixel, Bhang’s CEO, explained, “Every other week some group or entertainer approached Bhang wanting to license themselves and it was the same story, ‘This is what we want you to give us to use our name.’ Cypress Hill’s cannabis agent came to us with a different approach. It was more like, “we don’t want to slap our name on a product. We want input and we want the products to be dope (no pun intended).”

Jimi Hendrix Cannabis Candies Set to Hit the Marijuana Market

It seems that the purple haze all in Jimi’s brain is moving to his stomach. Yes, that’s right—we’re getting Jimi Hendrix edibles.

Purple Haze Properties announced on Wednesday that the company has brokered licensing deals with manufacturers in California and Oregon to distribute Nutritional High’s line of Jimi’s Cannabis Collection Gummy Bears and Hard Candies, which will also be available in Colorado in the coming months. With a wide array of flavors, the candies will each be named after Hendrix’s song titles.

“I look forward to these great products being available in dispensaries in California, Oregon and Colorado,” said Leon Hendrix, brother of the late guitar legend. “I really think the fans will love these stoner treats.

n Sarandon Endorses Arizona’s Prop 205 with Phone Messages

Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon officially stated she endorses Prop 205 in Arizona to legalize cannabis for those 21 and older, the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol announced recently.

In addition to Sarandon’s endorsement, the campaign is sending out a message from her to the phones of thousands of voters in the state. The message encourages them to “vote for taxing and regulating marijuana by voting ‘yes’ on Prop. 205.” 

Proposition 205, which is incredibly similar to the cannabis legalization initiatives on the ballot in four other states, would allow those 21 and older to possess up to an ounce of cannabis, grow up to six cannabis plants, and purchase cannabis and cannabis products from a licensed retail outlet.

Well I grew up LDS (mormon) and was good and true to that until I was about 16 and a half. I never touched a substance. But a lot of unfortunate, out-of-my-control events happened at that time and I began experimenting with substance after substance. Started with cannabis actually! Then quickly moved on from THC and didn’t look back until later, unfortunately.

Cannabis Activist and Former News Anchor Charlo Greene Releases Debut Hip Hop Singles

Charlo Greene, the Alaskan news anchor, turned viral cannabis activist just released two debut hip hop singles and is currently planning a ‘freedom’ tour. (Scroll down to listen!)

The newly minted MC will be traveling the US to raise awareness about cannabis prohibition and her own ongoing experience dealing with prohibition starting in early December. Charlo will be hitting at least six cities, including Denver, Detroit, DC, Los Angeles and Portland during what she refers to as her ‘last days of freedom.’

Charlo first shared her music project and upcoming plans with the supporters of her online crowdfunding campaign and with her social media followers during a Facebook live stream.
